Leading from the front is the slope and Green Undulation functionality. The slope functionality provides compensated distance based on undulation, also integrating the V-Algorithm data. You can disable the slope mode to comply with the Tournament requirement.

GPS Pin Assist. This makes use of GPS data to filter background and hone on the flag to provide yardages from the front, center, and back of the green. It provides distances to hazards and bunkers as well.

This device also features two modes of operation when on the laser. You can go from the continuous scanning mode where you can get distances from different objects or you can choose the normal mode where you are locked on just one target.

Also, the 6X Magnification lens provides a clearer, brighter, and more accurate display.

Performance.

Play a few holes with the Voice Caddie on the golf course and I was blown away by what I saw.

 

From the focus lens, you could get a crystal clear display, with absolute clarity of whatever you are dialing in on. This is absolutely an incredible experience, comparable to nothing I have seen in a Laser rangefinder.

This device is designed to deliver all the specifications precisely, and even much more.

And when you combine it with the GPS functionality, you get to unlock even more features like the active green view that shows off green undulation for an intuitive and realistic look, showing the breaks and the surface of the green. This helps you know exactly what direction your next par is going to turn towards.

Using the GPS Pin Assist, which is automatically switched on, the GPS functionality filter background to help you hone in on the Pin more efficiently.

The new Course Preview displays information such as distance to the traps and hazards plus added 6x wide-angle lens.

Overall, playing with the Voice Caddie SL2 Active Hybrid GPS Laser Rangefinder was a great experience and I cherish every moment with it, and I dare to say this is one of the most advanced Laser rangefinders I have ever used.
