Callaway Rogue ST MAX OS Irons Review

In this Callaway Rogue ST MAX OS Irons Review, I intend to go through the performance of the Rogue ST Max Os irons to see if they can be a good fit for your game.

Callaway released 4 versions of the Rogue ST Models for 2022, and with these irons, playing golf is becoming much easier and more fun.

Callaway Rogue ST MAX OS Irons Review – Introduction.

The Rogue ST Max Os Irons are game improvement irons and are here to reshape how game improvement irons look.

They are the fastest Callaway Irons so far and are built with high launch, wide soles, and enhanced offset aimed at mid-high handicappers looking to get the best out of their irons.

A lot of innovation and technology has gone into making the Rogue ST Max OS Irons deliver better performance than the previous Mavrik model.

Some adjustments also have been carried out including pushing Callaway’s patented urethane microspheres further up the face (up to the 6th groove) to enhance sound and deliver a pure feel without taking away the fastball speeds.

Basic Features/Technology.

The Rogue ST Max OS Features an Artificial Intelligence-designed Flash Face Cup for more ball speed, high launch, and control landing.

Also featured is Precision tungsten weighting technology for optimal launch featuring up to 49g of high-density tungsten which represents a 188% increase from the Mavrik Irons, and the result is an improved launch condition, and to maximize speed across the face.

Also, just like the Rogue ST Max, and most Callaway Clubs, the Rogue ST Max OS featured the Callaway patented urethane microspheres, but is now positioned further up the face (up to the 6th groove) to enhance sound and deliver pure feel without sacrificing fast ball speeds.

Finally, in comparison to the Rogue ST Max Irons earlier reviewed, the Rogue ST Max OS has a much wider sole and an enhanced offset aimed at creating more confidence for players, high launch, and delivering more forgiveness for mid-high handicappers.

Standard Specifications.

For the Rogue ST Max OS, Callaway is the True Temper Elevate MPH Steel, the Project X Cypher Graphite, and the Mitsubishi Tensei AV Blue Graphite as standard stock graphite, while the Callaway Universal, 51 grams, is the standard grip.

The Rogue ST Max OS cut a traditional game-improvement look but with a much wider sole, a much thicker top line compared to the Rogue ST Max, more offsets, and perimeter weighting for more forgiveness.

Forgiveness.

The Rogue ST Max OS is absolutely forgiving, with the introduction of a new high strength 450 steel with the A.I. designed Flash Face Cup.

Also, wide soles enhanced offset and a thicker top line compared to the Rogue ST MAX is to provide confidence, high launch, and forgiveness for mid-to-high handicap players.

Feel & Sound.

Callaway deployed their patented urethane microspheres technology in a much better position to create a better, pure feel at impact and the result is phenomena.

Speed & Distance.

To enhance speed and distance across the face, Callaway deployed An industry-first, combination of high-strength 450 steel with our A.I. designed Flash Face Cup. This delivers more ball speed and better ball speed consistency.

What Others Are Saying About The Rogue ST Max OS.

To be fair with Callaway, these Irons are relatively new, and not many people have played them yet, so the few reactions come mostly from people who got them for review purposes.

Pros:

  • Very Forgiving.
  • Easy to launch.
