Starting off with the size, the Garmin Approach Z82 is a little more compact than the Bushnell Pro XE.
The Garmin Approach Z82 features an App that comes preloaded with over 41,000 world-class golf courses worldwide. This is a major advantage as you can preview the entire map of the course, especially when playing on a new course.
The Bushnell Pro XE has a similar feature but with only 36,000+ Preloaded courses.
There is also the Find The Pin and Lock On the Flag feature called the PinPointer in the Garmin Approach Z82. Essentially, the feature helps you locate the direction of the flag, and is particularly helpful on a blind shot.
Another feature/functionality in the Garmin Approach Z82 that is not found in the Bushnell Pro XE is the 2D course overlay visible through the 6x magnification lens that displays the distance from the front, center, and back of the green.

Conclusively, both the Garmin Approach Z82 and the Bushnell Pro XE are high-end gadgets with upgraded features from their previous models and both deliver incredible results.
