Cobra King LTDx Max review-Introduction

The Cobra King LTDx Max Drivers is one of the 3 new models in the LTDx lineup released by the Cobra King golf for 2022.

This club shows the same extreme Distance and forgiveness as the standard LTDx Driver earlier reviewed here.

There’s, however, an added heel weighting to provide draw bias for the person that needs it.

It is a Club targeted at players who struggle with consistency in strikes

Cobra King LTDx Max Drivers review – Basic Features/Technology.

The LTDx Max Drivers features some great technologies to make sure it delivers such powerful performance.

First is the PWR-COR Technology, which is simply a multi-material weighting system, consisting of Titanium, steel, and Aluminum that re-positions internal and external weight as much as possible, low and forward, for faster ball speed with reduced spin.

Next is the H.O.T face technology(H.O.T here means, Highly Optimized Topology). This is simply like the A. I technology that designs a variable thickness face, providing 15 different HOT zones around an expanded area of the face, meaning an enlarged sweet zone.

The Multi-Material construction uses 30% more Carbon Fiber than that of the Radspeed Drivers reviewed Here.

Also, there is an updated CNC Infinity face designed that wrapped around the leading edge for an increase in the zone of maximum ball speeds, with a visually beautifully creating topline for improved visuals.

Finally, the LTDx Max Driver has an adjustable weighting system. It has a 10gram weight and a 3gram weight and can be flip flop. you can get the 10gram in the heels to enjoy more draw bias.

Standard Specification.

The LTDx Max Drivers offers 3 loft options with each having its getting where players can fine-tune the loft and lie that better fit their game.

Cobra King golf provides different shaft options to choose from and also, you have an option to go for a costume made.

There is the Project X HZRDUS Smoke RDX 60-Extra stiff, 6.6, 64g, there is also the Project X HZRDUS Smoke iM10 60-stiff, 66g.

Other shaft options are; The UST Helium Nanocore 50-5F3-Regular, 55g.

All these are Standard stock shafts for the LTDx Max Drivers.

Cobra King is using the Lamkin crossline (58r)-Black/Silver (48.5) as the standards stock grip.

The LTDx Max Driver set out quite traditional and very square, at address, and through impact.

Notice an updated CNC Ifinity made face with the topline providing a more traditional look, and a better visual alignment.

I love the color combination, the multi-material chassis with the  lightweight carbon crown and sole plate cabin crown.

By and large, the entire design is optimized for more ball speed, more distance and forgivenss.

The LTDx Max Drivers are designed for greater performance, a little more than the standard LTDx Driver, considering the level of forgiveness, Speed and Distance.

While the standard LTDx Drivers offer maximum forgiveness, the LTDx Max drivers have taken forgiveness to the extreme, powered by the PWR-CORE Technology. A sustantial amount of weight is positioned low and forward, and an additional tungsten back weight make the LTDx Max Drivers extremely forgiving, and its playable for a wide range of golfers.

Speeds & Distance.

The LTDx Max Drivers delivers the same speed and distance as the standard LTDx Driver using the H.O.T face technology.

The H.O.T face technology essentially enlarges the sweet zone which means maximum ball speed even on an off-center shot.

By and large, with all of the technologies deployed in making the LTDx Max Drivers, Speed and long distance seem to be focal point.

What Other people are Saying.

There are a number of positive reactions from the golfing world on the newest lineup of Drivers.

Although most of the reactions, at this moment, come from other reviewers, as the Drivers are not yet readily available for everyone.

Hopelly, this space would be updated as we get more reactions from others who are actively playing the LTDx Max Drivers.

  • Very forgiving.
  • Optimized for Distance.
  • High launch with low spin

  • Might not be suitable for established players.

Who Can Play The LTDx Max Drivers.

The LTDx Max Drivers can be a very good fit for players who struggle to hit long distance with their Drivers.

Most high handicappers and mid handicappers who want more forgiveness, speeds and high launch in their drivers would appreciate the LTDx Max Drivers better.

Better players might want to experience the LTDx Max Drivers but should not experience control, like the LTDx LS or other Tour Drivers.

Where To Buy The LTDx Max Drivers.

You can get your LTDx Max Drivers from popular online stores that sell golf equipment.

You can also get it from the Cobra King website.

But for the best shopping experience, my best-recommended place is on

Conclusively, the LTDx drivers are designed to accommodate a wide range of players, from average golfers, especially those who struggle to find consistency with their strike, to the more advanced yet improving players who want more distance and forgiveness in their Drivers.

Even pros who are willing to sacrifice control for forgiveness and distance can keep the LTDx Driver in their bags.
